Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to betterflood.com, and Better Flood Insurance., Inc. (BFI) and governs data collection and usage. For this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Better Flood Insurance., Inc. include betterflood.com and BFI. The BFI website is an informational site. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will notify you by e-mail to the e-mail address specified in your account and/or through a notice on the Website home page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable e-mail address for you, and for periodically visiting our Website and this privacy policy to check for any changes.

Refund Policy

Your Flood Insurance policy is paid in full for the full year 12-month service period.
In the event of cancellation of this Policy by the Assured, a minimum earned premium of 25% as of inception shall become earned; any conditions of the Policy to the contrary notwithstanding. All policy fees and Broker fees are fully earned.

In the event of cancellation by the Underwriters for non-payment by the Assured, the minimum premium shall be due and payable; provided however, such non-payment cancellation shall be rescinded if the Assured remits the full premium within 10 days of receiving notice of it.

In the event of any other cancellation by the Underwriters, the earned premium shall be computed pro rata, not subject to the minimum premium.
